    EXPERIENCE Over 15 years – I have worked for the U.S. Government in their Public Works Departments as a manager, supervisor, and master journeyman level as an electrician, High Voltage/Power Systems electrician, Utility worker/steam and piping systems operator and repairman including instrumentation, electro mechanical and hydraulic repair and maintenance, inventory control and shipping and receiving, Q.C. inspection of new equipment, line handling and rigging, various heavy equipment operation such as boom (portable crane) trucks and 20,000 pound forklifts. I was the training leader and conducted in house training for the power systems electricians, dispatchers, and facilities workers including helpers and trainees. I attended Chapman University course for instructor training. I developed training for the shop’s standard operating procedures and transformer service crew. I was the Public Works Department director/manager for the off hour shifts, responsible for transportation, maintenance, and operations for the entire Naval complex, Naval Housing, and the Naval hospital.
    3 years – District Foreman Bonneville Power Administration. Had apprentices assigned to my district and was responsible for overseeing their training requirements. I directed and instructed journeymen on high voltage equipment and test equipment requirements. We (the Port Angeles crew) were awarded the “Best Work Group Technical Award” for best crew team in Bonneville in 2004.
    Over 15 years – Public Works, Utilities Supervisor (fresh water, sewer, gas, fire main, oil clean up, etc) Power and Steam Plant supervisor/work leader for Long Beach Naval Shipyard, San Pedro Fuel Depot, Naval housing, and the Naval hospital Areas. Led and instructed apprentices on the entire distribution system and its maintenance and operational/dispatch requirements. I wrote and implemented many of the Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) for the Naval Shipyard, Naval Supply area, and the Naval Station. Directed resources to critical areas, responded to emergencies, and during Christmas shut down, was the lead director/manager for the entire Naval complex.
    Over 15 years- Certified lock and dry dock operator and repairman.
    2 – years- Project manager for repair and refurbishing floating dry docks YFDL-48 and YFD-71 and floating power plant YFP-3
