In the event of a broken water main (many members will not have water service), you might NOT be able to reach someone to talk to, as the water department will be very busy trying to restore your water service as quickly as possible.  We post “Boil Water Advisories” throughout Surfside, on the website’s home page, on our telephone system greeting as well as sending a message through Pacific County’s message alert service.
